-Attorney Eric Berlin

Eric D. Berlin is a Litigation Attorney at Hertz Schram, where he works with individuals and businesses through all stages and aspects of litigation.  Eric focuses his practice on medical malpractice matters, commercial litigation and business disputes, and general/civil litigation matters.  In this role, Eric works to achieve the best results for his clients by vigorously and aggressively representing their interests and serving as their counselor, advocate, and problem-solver, all while bringing enthusiasm, energy, and professionalism to his work.

Eric has been a litigator throughout his career and has represented clients in state and federal courts, including cases in the United States Supreme Court. He has broad and extensive litigation experience that includes contractual matters, commercial/business disputes, shareholder/member claims (including shareholder oppression claims), collection cases, real estate matters, non-compete/non-solicitation claims, trade secrets litigation, and premises liability cases, among others. Eric has additional experience in corporate transaction work, business formation and legal issues, and financial crisis management counseling to businesses and individuals.

St. Int’l. L. Rev. 517 (2013). Eric was also a competitor on the law school’s Moot Court & Trial Advocacy Board, where his participation included three national competitions (where he received top individual scores in his final competition), as well as serving as the team’s Recruitment chair.
