Judith Holtz graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in 1966 and Wayne State University Law School in 1969. She practiced general law from 1970-88, with emphasis on appellate practice and research and writing. In 1992, Ms. Holtz became a Magistrate of the 52nd District Court, 1st Division. She is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association, Michigan Association of District Court Magistrates, Women Lawyers Association, Oakland Area League of Women Voters and the Detroit Institute of Arts Founders Society. She is Vice President of the West Bloomfield Township Library Board. Ms. Holtz is the mother of three, Meredith, Jason and Ethan, two of whom are also attorneys and grandmother of Noah and Emilie.
