Robert P. Geller, a partner at Hertz Schram, is co-chair of the firm's Corporate Practice Group and chair of the firm's ERISA litigation practice. Mr. Geller serves as outside counsel to small to middle market companies and handles a wide variety of transactional matters, including initial organization, acquisition and disposition of business interests, mergers and acquisitions, federal and state securities filings, and private offerings. As chair of the firm's ERISA litigation practice, Mr. Geller supervises a team of ERISA attorneys who litigate ERISA class actions throughout the United States. In the past five years the firm has recovered over 95 million dollars for participants of pension plans sponsored by Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Geller received his Juris Doctor degree from the Boston University School of Law in 1982 and his Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 1979. Early in his professional career, Mr. Geller worked for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Mogadishu, Somalia, where he worked as a contracting officer and assisted in implementing development projects in Somalia sponsored by USAID.
