Ari M. Charlip is a partner with the law firm of Hertz Schram PC. His practice focuses on assisting title insurance underwriters and large financial institutions, as well as small, medium and large mortgage servicers, with title and commercial litigation. Ari also represents corporations in commercial litigation. Ari also has extensive experience with pre-foreclosure, foreclosure and bankruptcy services, with an emphasis on real estate litigation matters, including lien priority disputes, judicial foreclosures, contested evictions (commercial and residential), and adverse possession issues. His vast experience in real estate law combines service as counsel for a variety of retail, commercial and industrial customers with legal representation in real estate and property management matters, as well as litigation and foreclosure issues. Ari also has experience with complex state tax lien issues, mediation and arbitration, and creditor bankruptcy. As a result of his representation of the largest title insurance underwriters, he also handles agent defalcation and direct litigation for the title underwriters. Ari currently represents large commercial companies in litigation, including work-out structures with lenders and his experience and knowledge has assisted his clients in achieving desired results without unnecessary cost or delay.
Ari's legal background includes acting as in-house counsel for one of the nation's leading real estate developers. Ari drafted and negotiated leases, license and partnership agreements, vendor contracts and other related agreements for his client. Ari is well versed in drafting, reviewing and negotiation leases on behalf of landlords and tenants as well.
